I will soon be taking a road trip with the family from Knoxville, TN to Williamsburg, VA. I would like to find luthier related places to visit as well as the historical aspects. Small luthier shops, suppliers, great little (or big) music stores. Any ideas? Now, don't start up about the small luthier shops. You know what I mean ![]() Couple of years ago I was able to fit in a trip to the Martin factory when traveling up that way. Looking for more fun stuff. Thanks Donovan |

Hey, Donovan Steve of Colonial Tonewood is in Williamsburg or just outside. My wife and I had planned to go to Williamsburg this summer and drop in on Steve, but things didn't work out. It's on my list, though. Ron |

Sylvan Wells' shop is also somewhere in VA. You might PM him as well. |
